I just read a pretty cool article over at John Chow‘s website that explains how if you ask the right questions, you can get all kinds of free stuff. As an example, John talks about how he asked Neil Patel for a free Macbook Air during IZEA and Neil gave him one. But, just wording your questions isn’t always enough. As john mentions in his 2 part article, you have to make sure that you have something to give in return. The example of the Macbook Air he discusses mentions that the reason Neil Patel gave him the Macbook Air was because Neil knew that John would blog about it which would generate positive news about Neil. Since I’m now writing about this as well, Neil was obviously correct and I’m sure that there are many others out there that are going to write about this story as well which will obviously snowball out even further generating even more hype for Neil Patel. So, if you have a few minutes to read a nice article about how to ask for free stuff, make sure you checkout John’s articles below.
