You Can’t Handle the Proof

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… “I FUCKING HATE WINDSTREAM!!!!!!!” Over the last few days, I’ve actually been at home on a break from all the traveling I do for work. Aside from spending time with my family, I’ve also tried spending a little “me time” on the internet. For “me time”, I like to play online multiplayer games on Xbox Live. Unfortunately, Windstream internet has once again shown me why I fucking hate, hate, hate Windstream. I’ve ranted about Windstream before here and here.

Since I started my new job 7 months ago, I haven’t been at home long enough to remember how much I hate Windstream. But, the last week has reminded me just how much Windstream DSL sucks! To prove how shitty my Windstream DSL internet is (and has been for almost 3 years now with absolutely no signs of improving), I ran several speed tests last night and again tonight. Before any of you Windshit techless employees begin blaming my slow connection on something in my house, I will go ahead and tell you now that these speed tests were conducted with my laptop connected straight to the modem. So, these numbers were not results from faulty network cables, switches, routers, or other active computers on my internal network.

Today, I called the fiber optic provider I had before I moved, but they aren’t planning on extending into my area until toward the end of 2013. Tomorrow, I will be personally visiting the local cable provider to find out when they will turn on service in my area. When I first began having problems with Windstream (which was from day one), I contacted the local cable company to ask when they would be providing service to my house as they already have their lines ran straight up to my house. All they have left to do is connect their line to my house, provision the local switch, and begin providing me service. When I last contacted them, they said I needed 10 or 11 more neighbors before they would find it cost-beneficial to provide service to my neighborhood. Well, I now have almost 15 new neighbors and I am praying that the cable company will finally decide to provide internet to my neighborhood. Once they do, I am going to drop Windshit Communications and never look back. So, if you are reading this Windshit, and I know some of you do, I can’t wait for the day that I get to tell you to go fuck yourselves and there is not a day that goes by that I don’t pray for you to go out of business. You are completely fucking worthless!

Now for the speed test results that show how poor my Windstream DSL connection has been. The following results are from http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/. Keep in mind that I am paying for the 3MB plan. Every time I have called Windshit, they have told me that I need to pay for the 6MB connection in order to receive faster speeds. Ummm?!?!? If I can’t even get close to the 3MB I’m paying for, how fucking stupid are you to believe that I should pay more for a faster speed that I can’t even get half of now? Plus, Windshit continues to tell me that the 6MB connection isn’t even available in my area anyways. Why tell me to upgrade when the faster plan isn’t even available in my area?

Anyways, these tests were ran over time last night and again tonight. I could continue these tests all week long and the numbers are always shitty. Pay attention to the download and upload speeds at the bottom. Also, keep in mind that these tests fluctuated so bad that there were times that I couldn’t even conduct a test because the test page kept timing out. I might as well go back to using dial-up. But, if I did that, I would still be stuck dealing with Windshit as they are the only telephone provider in my area too. So, I’m double-fucked!!!
