By now you should know that if you want to make money on the internet, you need to have a site of your own and just as important, you need to have a lot of content. Now, if you’re like me, you’re probably already stretched to the limit for the day, leaving yourself very little time for writing articles to give your site content. Well, never fear as there are plenty of ways you can get content for your website. Here I will briefly touch on how to pay for content. But, to keep with the way I prefer to do business, I will show you how to get content for FREE!!! And, A LOT OF IT!!! So, let’s get to it.

The first way (and my least favorite way) to get content for your site is by paying any of the millions of content writers out there to do it for you. I’m not going to get into the details of this because I’m sure you already know what I’m going to say. You can find millions of people out there that are willing to write a 300 – 500 word article on just about any topic you can imagine. These sites are pretty cool as you can get a lot of really good content in a short amount of time, but you still have to pay for it. If you are interested in paying for content for your site, I’d recommend starting with someone like ideaLaunch. I’ve seen a lot of really good stuff come from these and their prices aren’t all that bad. However, if you don’t want to spend any money, then keep reading as I’m about to blow your mind.

I now want to turn your attention to a site called EzineArticles.com. This is a site that currently has 320,767 authors that write new articles on a fairly regular basis. They usually tend to write small, short hand versions of larger articles that are normally located on their own personal websites. In fact, in a future article, I’ll be explaining to you why this is beneficial to building traffic for your site and will go into details of how to pull it off … correctly. Anyways, back on subject. EzineArticles.com has several categories that you can choose from, each of which have thousands of pre-written articles for the taking. You can easily copy these articles verbatim and paste them into your own blog. It’s usually best to add a few lines of your own before and possibly after their article so that you can add your own touch. In fact, I’d recommend adding at least a sentence or two before their article so that you can shove in any keywords you’d like to help out with the search engines. You can add anything you want as long as you don’t modify their article in any way. So, a good starter to a pasted article would be something like:

“I was doing some reading today and came across an interesting article that I thought I’d share with you. It’s about a guy that teaches you how to make money on the internet. He has some pretty good techniques that I found helpful and think that you will get something out of this as well.”

*paste article here*

If you noticed, I made a few words bold to point out a nice keyword phrase that the search engines love to see. In this case, I want users to find my website when they search for “how to make money on the internet”. Another cool thing about this is that you can use those same keywords as the title to your article. This helps add a bit of keyword density which the search engines also love to see.
